Where is the studio?
2645 Calbert Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46219. We're a ten-minute drive east of downtown, with free parking on site.
Do I need a camera to start?
No. We loan DSLR and mirrorless bodies to enrolled students at no extra cost for the full duration of any course.
What level should I start at?
If you've never shot in Manual mode or aren't sure what aperture does, start with Photography Fundamentals. If you already know the exposure triangle, look at Studio Portraiture or the Landscape Field Workshop.
How many students per class?
Twelve maximum for most courses, eight for studio-based courses, and three for the one-on-one mentorship track.
Are classes weeknight or weekend?
Both. Fundamentals and most week-long courses meet on weeknights at 6:30 PM. Field workshops are weekends.
What's your refund policy?
The $50 deposit is fully refundable up to fourteen days before a course begins. Full tuition is refundable on a prorated basis through the second session.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes — any course over $300 can be split into three monthly installments at no additional cost.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, in $50 increments, valid for twelve months. Email us and we'll mail a printed certificate within two business days.
I'm a working photographer — can you mentor me?
That's exactly what the twelve-week one-on-one mentorship track is for. Schedule a free 20-minute call with Gary first to make sure it's the right fit.
Do you photograph events or weddings?
Gary occasionally takes editorial and corporate work; Maya is a full-time wedding photographer. Email us and we'll connect you.
